XRAIL is proud to announce its ‘Free to be Safe’ champion, Paul Pashley, Signaling and Telecoms Team Leader at XRAIL.

On the 9th of September, Colas Rail launched its ‘Free to be Safe’ Movement taking another step forward in improving the way that their staff and supply chain communicate about safety. The essence and purpose of ‘Free to be Safe’ is helping staff to feel free to “SPEAK UP, CHALLENGE or STOP WORK”. Here at XRAIL we fully support this movement and are proud to have our own ‘Free to be Safe’ champion.

Paul Pashley, Free to be Safe champion and Signaling and Telecoms Team Leader, XRAIL said, “I am really proud to be the ‘Free to be Safe’ champion at XRAIL. In our industry safety is imperative. Most accidents caused in rail are by one of us doing something unsafely, which could have been avoided.”

“The ‘Free to be Safe’ Movement launched by Colas Rail is a great way for all of us in the rail industry to help to keep each other safe.”
